Fashion essay-2:trench coat
내가 평생 트렌치 코트를 탐할 수 밖에 없는 정당한 이유?!
고백하건데, 나는 정말 트렌치 코트가 많다. 어쩌면 더이상 산다면 분명 다른 이의 비난을 살지도 모른다. 베이지, 블랙,카키,화이트,다크그린의 트렌치 코트가 나름 그 차별적 용도와 디자인을 핑계로 나의 옷장에 걸려 있다. 그리고 최근에 나는 그 저돌적인 샤이닝함과 오만한 퓨쳐리즘을 온몸으로 발산하고 있는 골드 컬러의 트렌치 코트의 유혹을 이기지 못하고 구매를 감행했다. 그런데도 나는 여전히 트렌치 코트가 더 갖고싶다. 버버리의 그라데이션 코트는 내가 크림색 코트를 구입하는데 주저했던 동기를 단숨에 상쇄시켜 줄 것 같으며 엔젤에서 본 코트는 신축적이면서도 보온성이 있어서 추운날씨에 트렌치 코트를 입을 수 없어 늘 아 쉬워하던 점을 해결해 줄 수 있을 거 같다. 빈티지 숍에서 본 발목까지 떨어지는 아쿠스큐텀 코트는 잉그리드 버그만 그 것을 연상시켜 나의 우아한 40대를 보장해줄 것만 같다.
그리고 덧붙이자면, 나는 트렌치코트가 잘 어울린다. 키가 크고 쇄골뼈가 한 일자로 쭉 뻗은 덕분에 또한 다행히도 배가 나오지 않았기 때문에 입으면 나름 핏이 산다. 물론 내 몸의 결점도 적절히 가려주기 때문에 나는 매 시즌마다 재해석되는 트렌치 코트의 위티하고 영민한 디자인에 늘 감동하고 매 세일시즌 적 마다 나를 매료시켰던 코트를 다시 찾아나서는 수고로움을 아끼지 않는다.
무엇보다 나의 트렌치 코트에 대한 식을 줄 모르는 열정에 대한 변명 구실이 하나 더 있지 않는가? 나는 런던에 있다. 여기서 살다 보니 이제 더 이상 예기치 못한 비를 맞는 일이 대수롭지 않고 급작스럽게 돌변하는 밤바람에 당혹스러워 하지않는다. 이런 날씨에 정말 제격인 외투는 비에 맞으면 늘 세탁을 요하는 캐시미어 코트도 모피 코트도 아니다. 정말 트렌치 코트가 제격이다. 그리고 떠올려보라. 비비안 리가 워털루 브릿지에서, 오드리 헵번이 맨하탄에서, 험브리 보가트가 카사블랑카에서 쏟아지는 빗속에서 입은 옷이 무엇이었는지 말이다. 그래서 트렌치 코트는 동시에 서정적이다. 영국군 장교용 외투에서 유래했지만 그것이 주는 이미지는 애뜻하고 아련하고 쓸쓸한 그 어떤 날 잡지 못했던 무엇과 닮았다.
베이지 컬러의 벨트가 있고 견장이 달린 더블버튼 클래식 코트는 입는 이로 하여금 견고하고 단정하게 보이도록 한다. 그러나 그 뒷모습이 입는 이의 숨겨진 유약함과 뜻 모를 고독감을 대변하는 듯 싶다. 허리로 갈 수록 좁아지다 다시 에이A자로 퍼지는 실루엣이 그리고 살짝 들어올린 칼라가 이를 반영하는 것이리라.
그래서 명민한 크리스토퍼 베일은 스터디드 장식을 하더라도 드레이핑 방식을 가미하더라도 숄더에 셔링처리를 하더라도 트렌치 코트가 갖고 있는 그 클래식한 아우라만큼은 늘 지켜낸다. 고전적이면서 모던한 세련미가 있고 실용적이면서 센티멘탈한 미학이 담겨 있다.
그래서 나는 단 한번도 소장하고 있는 트렌치 코트가 지겨워 진 적이 없다. 그리고 엄마로부터 받은 블랙 트렌치 코트는 그 클래식한 디자인과 독특한 변형 덕분에 지금도 나의 베스트 아이템이다. 다른 코트들 역시도 몇년 째 입고 있고 앞으로도 계속 입을 참이다. 그리고 나는 앞으로도 기꺼이 나를 매료시킬 트렌치 코트의 굴복할 마음가짐이 되어있다. 평생토록 말이다.

Fashion essay-1: white shirt
화이트 셔츠를 입기 위해 갖추어야 할 덕목
셔츠 한 장 입는데 덕목을 요구하다니 지나친 소리라 생각할 수 있다. 어느 패션잡지를 보아도 옷을 구매하는데 독자에게 도덕적 자질을 갖추라는 글은 찾아 볼 수 없다. 뉴욕,런던,밀라노,파리로 이어지는 패션순례를 통한 일종의 예언적 계시를 받아 이를 트렌드라 하여 복음을 전파한다. 그 내용은 이러하다. 올 시즌 이러한 컬러,패턴 그리고 디자인을 여러 디자이너의 런웨이에서 볼 수 있었으니 이는 분명 그대의 스트리트에도 전파되어 마땅할 것이다. 그러니 그대는 부디 각고의 신체적 단련과 부단한 팔로우 업을 통하여 그대의 존재적 가치와 신실함을 입증하라. 여기에 어떠한 도덕적 자질을 요구하는 말씀은 없다.
그런데 내가 화이트 셔츠를 얘기하는데 도덕적 자질을 논하는 것은 정말 우스운 일일지도 모른다. 그러나 생각해보라. 화이트 셔츠 만큼 클래식하고 판타지를 불러일으키는 패션 아이템이 있는지 말이다. 다시 말하면, 화이트 셔츠는 단순히 패션 아이템을 넘어서서 입는 이로 하여금 기대하게 만드는 무엇인가가 있단 말이다.
지중해 대양의 바다내음과 살인적 열기에 흐르는 땀냄새가 훅 하고 지나갈 듯한 알랭 드롱의 화이트 셔츠. 벨 듯한 빳빳한 칼라에 목 아래 첫단추까지 꼭 채워서 팽팽한 긴장감 마저 감도는 칼 라거펠트의 화이트 셔츠. 어깨선과 허리선 어디에서도 결점을 찾을 수 없는 완전무결한 핏을 보여준주는 콜린 퍼스 혹은 톰포드의 화이트 셔츠. 그리고 뉴욕 독신 여성이라면 한 벌 쯤 있어야 한다는 공식을 만들어 낸 다이앤 키튼의 우아하고 지적인 화이트 셔츠.
그러나 화이트 셔츠는 또한 아무나 입는다. 그리고 아무때나 입는다. 하지만 셔츠 한 장 제대로 입기가 그리고 화이트를 제대로 입을 줄 안다는 것은 분명 다른 차원이다.
윈저칼라를 캐주얼 자켓과 입는다거나 3버튼 칼라를 보타이와 매치하는 우를 법하지 말며 탭 칼라의 우아한 멋을 알고 윈저 공에게 감사할 줄 아는 지식이 요청된다.
자신의 얼굴형과 목길이에 적합한 셔츠를 알았다면 그 셔츠에 맞는 자켓을 고르는 법 또한 알아야한다. 물론 넥타이 매는 법도 단연 달라야하고 때로는 넥타이를 하지 않을 경우 단추를 몇 개 정도 푸는 것이 적당한지도 알아야 한다.
그리고 무엇보다 화이트 셔츠는 한 점의 얼룩도 없이 스치면 베일 듯이 빳빳하게 다림질 되어야 한다. 그러니 다른 세탁물과 함께 돌려서도 안되고 말릴 시에는 옷걸이에 정갈하게 걸어 말려야한다. 그 후 다림질을 할 때는 칼라에 풀을 먹여 다려야 하고 요크부분은 그 어느 부분보다 신중을 다하여 다려야한다. 시간적 여력 부족하거나 다림질 하는 법을 모른다면 다른 자의 노동력을 사더라도 화이트셔츠는 눈부시도록 새하얗게 그리고 빳빳해야 한다.
그러니 화이트셔츠는 다른 패션 아이템과 달리 고결하고 숭고한 멋이 요구된다. 알랭드롱,칼 라거펠트,콜린 퍼스 그리고 다이앤 키튼의 그 것이 그렇게 새하얗고 구김없이 기억되는 이유는 그들의 셔츠가 역시 모두 그러했기 때문이다.
내가 만일 화이트 셔츠에서 백자로부터 발견했을 법한 미학을 느꼈다고 한다면 이는 분명 무리가 아닐 것이다. 화이트 셔츠의 신체의 움직임을 방해하지 않는 과하지도 보족하지도 않는 핏과 무리없이 목을 감싸는 칼라 그리고 어께에서 소매로 떨어지는 물흐르는 듯한 라인은 백자의 가감없는 실루엣과 우아한 곡선을 그리는 목선 그리고 담백하게 몸통에서 받침으로 이어지는 흐름과 비슷하다. 그러나 무엇보다 담고 있는 그 정신이 닮았다. 정갈함과 담백함을 담아내는 고아하고 담대한 정신이다. 그러니 화이트 셔츠를 제대로 입는다면 단순히 걸치는 차원을 넘어서서 담백하고 정갈한 멋을 살리는 법을 터득해야 하고 스스로 입는 자 역시 이를 담아낼 그릇이 되어야한다. 그래서 내가 디올옴므의 화이트 셔츠를 걸친 날렵한 모델들보다 제레미 아이런스의 화이트 린넨 셔츠에 가슴뛰는 것도 그 때문일지 모른다.

The comment said that people think white is just white, the colour of white could not be described in many way and white ends in white. However, the artist mentioned they are all wrong.
I thought,firstly, you're always lovely quirky,eccentric.Yes, that is the way you are. you brought something weird and crazy man's writing and then asked or tested me, now. At the same time, His comment stimulated my curiosity, I paused for reaching his true mind.
I gave you my view on the comment. "because the artist thought the color of white could be categorized into various ways,like yellowish-white, grey-white, or blue-white. He's quite sensitive to distinguish difference between colors, even slight thing. So, My answer could be a proper response about the comment and your question?"
Expectedly, you'd got unexpected answer. This point's always driven me irresistible on your cast,and hung on the memories. Even in my dream, you can step into.
"No, the artist was allowed to see only one color, white, for whole his life. His studio was painted white on all the wall. He didn't know any other color, more precise, never seen other colors.His drawings could look just daubed white. But, if the one is only exposed in the world which is just full of one color, the one could have sense and skill to express one's mind by one color. The color we called red,blue and black could be in the artist's world. He could recognize differences among whites, as like we distinguish red and blue. Boram, He saw only one color during entire his life, there was no any other one. He might see millions different color in the one called white"

Cheese and red wine may seem the ultimate no-brainer, but the two clash almost as often as they hit it off. Particular culprits are stinky French cheeses such as époisses, brie matured to the stage where it's oozing off the board and strong blues, all of which can totally skew a subtle and elegant red.
So is it possible to be a wine lover and a curd nerd? As a fan of both, I'd say yes, but not at the same time. If you want to serve a selection of cheeses – as most do, especially around Christmas – I'd leave out the smellier customers and serve an accommodating red such as a côtes du rhône villages, or a rioja such as the well-priced Paternina Monte Haro Rioja 2008 (on offer at £6.49 at Wine Rack, and the Oxford Wine Company; 13% abv).
If you must have a pongy cheese, serve it solo and with a drink to match – and that's generally a sweet white, not a red. Sauternes, say, the traditional partner for roquefort that also goes surprisingly well with époisses and similarly pungent washed rind cheeses: the 2006 Waitrose in Partnership Sauternes, made by Château Suduiraut (£13.49 a half-bottle; 13.6% abv), would be perfect.
Gooey bries tend to work well with fruity pinot noirs such as the lush Roaring Meg Mount Difficulty Pinot Noir from Central Otago (on offer at £13.99 at Majestic if you buy two or more; 14% abv), while a well-matured camembert, say, in my view fares better with an apple brandy such as calvados or Somerset Royal Cider Brandy (from £13.50 for 35cl, ciderbrandy.co.uk and assorted south-western wine merchants; 42% abv).
Blue cheeses such as stilton are traditionally paired with port, but I love them with sweet sherries, too, especially Averys' wickedly moreish Bristol Supreme Sweet Sherry (a steal at £8.99 for 75cl; 17.5% abv) or, possibly even better, with a glass of sloe or damson gin – Bramley And Gage make a good one at 26% abv for £14.19.
If, on the other hand, you're opening a special bottle of wine, you'd be better off going for less assertive cheeses – hard sheep's cheeses such as a manchego or pecorino are generally a safe bet, red leicester makes a good match for red bordeaux, and crumbly shards of mature parmigiano reggiano make great nibbling with an elegant Tuscan red such as the San Colombaio Vino Nobile di Montepulciano 2007 (£10.99 in larger branches of Sainsbury's; 13.5% abv).

If you want to serve a selection of cheeses – as most do, especially around Christmas – I'd leave out the smellier customers and serve an accommodating red such as a côtes du rhône villages, or a rioja such as the well-priced Paternina Monte Haro Rioja 2008 (on offer at £6.49 at Wine Rack, and the Oxford Wine Company; 13% abv).
If you must have a pongy cheese, serve it solo and with a drink to match – and that's generally a sweet white, not a red. Sauternes, say, the traditional partner for roquefort that also goes surprisingly well with époisses and similarly pungent washed rind cheeses: the 2006 Waitrose in Partnership Sauternes, made by Château Suduiraut (£13.49 a half-bottle; 13.6% abv), would be perfect.
Gooey bries tend to work well with fruity pinot noirs such as the lush Roaring Meg Mount Difficulty Pinot Noir from Central Otago (on offer at £13.99 at Majestic if you buy two or more; 14% abv), while a well-matured camembert, say, in my view fares better with an apple brandy such as calvados or Somerset Royal Cider Brandy (from £13.50 for 35cl, ciderbrandy.co.uk and assorted south-western wine merchants; 42% abv).
Blue cheeses such as stilton are traditionally paired with port, but I love them with sweet sherries, too, especially Averys' wickedly moreish Bristol Supreme Sweet Sherry (a steal at £8.99 for 75cl; 17.5% abv) or, possibly even better, with a glass of sloe or damson gin – Bramley And Gage make a good one at 26% abv for £14.19.
If, on the other hand, you're opening a special bottle of wine, you'd be better off going for less assertive cheeses – hard sheep's cheeses such as a manchego or pecorino are generally a safe bet, red leicester makes a good match for red bordeaux, and crumbly shards of mature parmigiano reggiano make great nibbling with an elegant Tuscan red such as the San Colombaio Vino Nobile di Montepulciano 2007 (£10.99 in larger branches of Sainsbury's; 13.5% abv).

Bunraku
A puppet is imitation of human being,or rather creature by human to convey veiled desire and fantasy.
the desire is always linked with being afraid of death, because human longs for unreachable or untouchable things which are out of
social boundary. If someone break boundary or rule, the one must be considered as lunatic or genius. Therefore,it could be said that all we are temporary lunatic. Puppet is for medium to reflect about taboo,dream and lust.
